Our Food Forest DeTours are an enjoyable and educational part of our LEAP Project (Leadership & Environmental Ambassador Program) that gives local community members the opportunity to contribute to a healthier and cleaner environment. It engages volunteers (students, adults, community & business groups) to join in the effort to clean up our green spaces. Our main location is located in Norfolk, Virginia ( 36.890096,-76.278504 ) remember “Not all those who wander are lost“!

While on our way to the Micro Farm (Third Saturday Monthly) many of our volunteers also participate in Keep America Beautiful’s Pedal Up to Clean Up activity on the way.

On October 29th, Ecocycling and the CIVIC Scholars Program will tackle their “Compost Collab Project” and install compost bins at Lamberts Point. Composting is an important part of the food sustainability cycle and having composting plots at Lamberts Point will give YOU and your neighbors the opportunity to waste less and do more for the environment.
