The Full Moon Bicycle Garden tour starts at the High Street HRT Ferry Stop a convenient location for Portsmouth and Norfolk residents alike. After a brief overview, introductions and safety talk we will proceed south towards the NTelos pavilion and Gosport Park. After enjoying a short historical exploration at the park we will get our wheels turning and head south/west towards the Ship Yard & turn onto Lincoln Street heading West toward The Elm Avenue Bicycle Lanes (page 13) which is our main connection to The Cradock Community Garden and “apple cider” pit stop. Once we get our fill of the Cradock Garden and free apple cider we will get back on two wheels and travel through Safety Town and visit Woodland Park near the TCC campus and a city owned property that is a possible home for future community gardens. Heading North/East we will stop at the Portsmouth Cooperative Extension, Norfolk Feed and Seed and the New Calvary Baptist Church Garden next to Norcom High School on London Blvd. Before heading to Olde Town we will visit the Oasis Social Ministry Garden and make our way to the end of the tour and final pit stop at The Bier Garden!
